The Coast Path descends by a number a steps to this point near Weston Plats
A view of Weston Cliff above Weston Combe.
Weston Plats is south-facing sheltered land used as fields - 'plats' - for raising early vegetables.
A steep path with more steps leads to the beach , then across the stream , to reach another steep path up the other side of the Combe.
The 3rd steep climb on the route between Sidmouth and Beer
