From Falmouth the Coast Path restarts at Place on the Roseland Penninsula.

In the summer months Place can be reached by taking the ferry across the "Carrick Road" waterway
to St. Mawes and then another ferry to Place.

From Falmouth to St Mawes - the St Mawes Ferry operates - all year , depending on weather conditions ,
from the Prince of Wales Pier / Custom House Quay

From St Mawes to Place - the Place Ferry operates (1st April - 29th Oct) ,
depending on weather conditions , landing on to a tidal pontoon at Place Creek .
Taking the roads to reach Place adds 8 miles to the route.
