From Crane Castle a view over Basset's Cove to Mirrose Well Cove and Samphire Island
A short length of the double rampart of Crane Castle Iron Age promontory fort remains.
The interior of the fort has slipped into the Sea.
Basset's Cove is named after a local 19th Century mining entrepreneur John Francis Basset.
The Basset's had a winch installed at the cove to take them down the 75m cliff in a cage.
