A cave excavated in 1784 by a Navy Lieutenant - James Lugger - in an effort to cure his gout.
Holes to the right of the cave and to the left - out of the photo - together with the flat platform below the cave ,
are the remains of Sharrow Palace - a pilchard processing works that existed before Luggers time.
